WhyCareers is designed for use in 8th Grade Career Portals, math and science classes, and other middle school classrooms. Students use a virtual world to explore energy issues. Integrated into the gaming is exploration of real, local career pathways that lead to local college programs.
WhyCareers’ motif is green energy. Students manage a power grid, learn academic and careers content, and learn about reliable and responsible energy sources.
